HOW TO AUDITION FOR BYGC...

Places are limited at BYGC and are only offered following a successful audition.

Each candidate will need to prepare a pop, rock or gospel-style song lasting no more that 1 minute. The song will need to be performed unaccompanied. The Choir Director will also work with the candidate on some musical exercises relating to vocal range and tonal quality.

Experience is not essential - but a strong voice and bags of energy is required! Most songs are choreographed, so a basic level of movement skills is required.

BYGC members must be between 10 and 16 years old. When members become 17, they may be offered a place in Vocal Works Gospel Choir.
